Winners for the writing and cosplay competitions will receive TROPHIES instead of a gift bag.
Writing competitions will be divided into TWO age groups.
- Group ONE: 7th – 9th graders
- Group TWO: 10th – 12th graders
Winners will be announced in the convention hall at 4:15 PM.
Competitions Categories For 2026

- Fantasy
- Romance
- Realistic Fiction
- Fanfiction
- Cosplay
- Concoct a Comic
- Children’s Book
For the pre-written competitions, email your work to aperez1@kleinisd.net by April 11, 2026. Include your name, the title of the piece and the category. All pre-written work MUST be emailed by April 11, 2026.
- Pre-written Short Story (submit ONE story/ person).
- Pre-written Poetry (submit ONE poem/ person).
- Prewritten Play/ Screen play (submit ONE script/ person).
- Pre-drawn/ painted/ sculpted FAN art depicting one of your favorite characters from a book (submit a picture of your artwork (ONE/ person). Digital work is accepted as long as it is NOT AI generated.
